FAQ
Do you believe in Fire Service?
Of course I do, as a volunteer at Seward Volunteer Fire Department I fought numerous fires and completely believe in a fire service.
How will you ensure accountability?
I will prioritize open dialogue, responsible budgeting, and oversight to ensure wise spending of resources.
Why are you running?
The current board has not asked good questions and doesn't use the word NO. I'm simply running to make sure we keep the current Chief accountable.
How can I contact you?
You can reach me through the contact page on this website for any inquiries.
What is your leadership style?
I aim to be a responsible steward of public trust, listening and communicating clearly with the community.
What do you mean irresponsible spending?
Over the past 2 years or more, BCVFD and the Board have made a series of decisions that are not financially responsible for the Bear Creek Area they serve. Once of which is purchase an ambulance that isn't need due to the limited amount of runs and the fact Seward Volunteer Ambulance Corps already provides ALS service to the Bear Creek Area and has for 72 years.
